RHS Band and Choir Earn ‘Superior’ Rating at Festival
On Friday, June 7th, the RHS Band and Choir travelled to Allentown, PA to participate in the High Note Music Festival. Their busses rolled out at 5:30am to make their morning performance and evaluation. Two adjudicators evaluated their performance and provided them with written and audio commentary along with a "Superior" rating. When the students return, the recorded audio comments will be played for students and serve as a clinic. As always, our music program continues to bring accolades back home to RHS! Rutherford Choir Performs at Carnegie Hall
On April 8, the Rutherford High School Concert Choir performed with the Coda Concert Series at the esteemed Carnegie Hall in New York City. In addition to rehearsing with professional clinicians, the students were able to sing in two mass choir pieces with all of the other students attending. There were groups performing from North Carolina, Texas, Illinois, and Long Island, New York.
