RHS students from Mrs. Baumann's Advanced Textiles class and the FCCLA club visited the Kindergarten Center to work with the students on managing their emotions. Students in Ms. Grillo's Studio Art classes hit the ground running when school started. They are fast at work creating image transfer art using Gelli Plates and acrylic paint. RHS Choir Remembers 9/11
A small ensemble from the Rutherford High School Concert Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Patricia Blanchard, was proud to perform at the Borough of Rutherford 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony in Lincoln Park. During the ceremony, the Borough honored the memories of the six Rutherford residents whom were lost during the terror attacks of September 11th, 2001. Students in Ms. Cafiero's Foods classes are learning about the proper way to use knives when slicing, cutting, chopping, and dicing. Today they practiced using kinetic sand which allows students to see the outcome without generating additional food waste.
