Rutherford High School is proud to announce that RHS senior Amelia Perlmutter won a Metro Award for her performance as Cady Heron in RHS’ Mean Girls. She took home the award for "Acting Performance – Female." She was presented her award by Broadway stars Kerry Butler and David Josefsberg at Tarrytown Music Hall during the awards ceremony. For years, the Rutherford High School Concert Choir has presented beautiful music at their semi-annual concerts. Now, for the first time ever, we are proud to present the 1st ever RHS Alumni Choir Concert! Recent graduates are singing along with graduates from yesteryear and we invite you to come hear them! RHS Students Selected for All-State Choir
Rutherford High School is proud to announce that music students Jeannille Ettinoffe, Danny Fencik, and Angelica Rodriguez have been selected for next year's All-State Choir. Over 700 students from throughout New Jersey auditioned, so this is a tremendous accomplishment. In addition, Angelica and Jeannille both ranked 14th in their respective voice parts out of over 100 students and Danny ranked 4th in the state for Tenor I! Foods Classes – Dessert Unit
During the last two weeks, our Foods classes have been concluding their dessert unit with pies and beginning their egg unit with homemade pudding pies. The students learned a new technique called tempering. This allows the eggs to be added to a hot liquid in a controlled environment to prevent them from scrambling.
