Welcome Back! – September 2017

The English department of Rutherford High School and Union Middle School has kicked off what promises to be an exciting school year!  We hope that your students feel the same way!  The addition of the Chromebooks to our classroom tools has already made an amazing difference.  Gone are the days of dittos, handouts, and photocopies!  This is a whole new world!  If you have questions about how your students are using these devices in English, please contact your child’s teacher.  All teachers will be demonstrating Google Classroom during the upcoming “Back-To-School” nights at UMS and RHS.  At Rutherford High School, we are thrilled to welcome Mr. Justin Bank who is filling in for Mrs. Bowden while she is on maternity leave.  We are also excited to welcome Miss Marie Palma and Ms. Erica Prinzo are joining us as English teachers and Mr. Mark Bergen is a new Special Education and English teacher at RHS.  Have a wonderful September and WELCOME BACK!!
