Congratulations to Miss Barcenas and Ms. Garcia’s English 300 class! They took 1st place in the RHS NJGPA prep contest and won a bagel breakfast! Students from the entire junior class competed using practice tests on the Albert.io testing platform. The students worked on different reading and writing skills tied to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards in preparation for the New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment. Despite the high-stakes nature of the test, the students had some fun preparing and competing against their peers on these practice activities ahead of the real thing!
