On Wednesday, May 30th, 2018, the RHS Drama Club cheered on RHS alumnus Sotirios Limitsios in his performance as the Black and White Knight at Medieval Times in Lyndhurst. Sotirios was a member of the RHS Class of 2015 and was a talented member of the Drama Club. He appeared as Gomez Addams in The Addams Family, Oberon in A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Beast in Beauty and the Beast. RHS Students Win Art and Literature Awards
Rutherford High School is excited to announce that three RHS students have been selected as statewide winners of the NJ PTA Reflections contest in art and literature!
These students are the STATEWIDE winners and their works will now move on to the national PTA competition.
Tridib Shome (Grade 11) - 1st place in the state for his poem The Million Dollar Fish.

The RHS Art Department will host the Evening of the Arts at RHS on May 17, 2018 from 7:00 - 9:00 in the library and surrounding areas. Come and see a display of all of the amazing work created by students in our classes! RHS Musical Wins Award Nomination!
For the first time, Rutherford High School competed in the Metro Awards. The Metro Awards is a competition for high schools in Bergen, Rockland, Putnam, and Westchester counties that honors excellence in musical theatre. RHS' production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella was judged against 56 other schools.

Art Students Take Top Prizes!
Congratulations to Art by Computer Design students Emilia Lorenz and Francis Cornacchiulo who took two of the top three prizes in a recent county wide art contest! These two artists were charged with creating a new logo for the Body Image/Eating Disorders Awareness Campaign. There were over 100 submissions reviewed by at least 50 judges. Three winners were chosen and two of them were from RHS! Each student will receive a scholarship funded by Hackensack-Meridian at Pascack Valley Medical Center and Investors Bank in Englewood.
