Congratulations to senior Marina Faltawws who was the New Jersey state winner for the Elks Association Drug Awareness Program Video Contest. The theme of the contest was "One Pill Can Kill" and Marina's video took an introspective look into the life of someone struggling with dependence and how one friend asking, "Are you okay?" can set someone on the path to seeking help. The RHS Theatre Department proudly presents this year's Fall Play: Little Women. The theatrical version of the classic novel includes all of the dialogue and takes you on the full journeys of Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy. RHS Fall Play “Little Women” – Auditions
Rutherford High School is excited to announce that we will be producing Little Women as our Fall Play this year. There will be an informational meeting on Monday, 9/11 at 3 PM in Room 221 for all students interested in auditioning or helping with stage crew. Ameila Perlmutter (’23) Takes Home Metro Theatre Award!
Rutherford High School is proud to announce that RHS senior Amelia Perlmutter won a Metro Award for her performance as Cady Heron in RHS’ Mean Girls. She took home the award for "Acting Performance – Female." She was presented her award by Broadway stars Kerry Butler and David Josefsberg at Tarrytown Music Hall during the awards ceremony. RHS School Newspaper Back Issues Are Digitized
In 2019, the R-Hi (the Rutherford High School newspaper) went online at RHSNews.org. Now, back issues from the past 60 years have been digitized. The R-Hi Archives has been a year-long project, and we are happy to announce it is finally published. Jeimmy Garita (‘24) volunteered to scan each and every R-Hi newspaper that we have on hand.
