It is amazing to me that we are already in December!  It has been a very exciting time here at RHS with a successful fall season.   Our band and choir students have been working extremely hard preparing for their Winter Concert.  This year we are trying something new and combining our concerts with the hardworking students at Union Middle School.   The UMS and RHS Choir members will be performing at 7:00 PM on December 8 at UNION SCHOOL.  The UMS and RHS Band members will be performing on Wednesday, December 14 at RHS.   Our winter sports teams are working hard and in full swing. It's hard to believe that I am typing that the end of Quarter 1 is approaching.   Quarter 1 ends on November 9 and as I have said a number of times already this year, the energy in the building has been fantastic.  School will be closed for election day on November 8 and also on November 10 and 11 for teachers’ convention.  The All School Play will be performed on Friday, November 18 and Saturday, November 19.  Schools will be closed for Thanksgiving on November 24 and 25 with a one-session day on Wednesday, November 23.  The all sports booster dinner will take place on November 22 at the … [Read more...] about Word from the Principal

It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome everyone back for the 2022-2023 school year. Now that we have pivoted to a post-pandemic environment, I am excited for RHS to go “Back to Basics” and focus on academic rigor.
