On April 8, the Rutherford High School Concert Choir performed with the Coda Concert Series at the esteemed Carnegie Hall in New York City. In addition to rehearsing with professional clinicians, the students were able to sing in two mass choir pieces with all of the other students attending. There were groups performing from North Carolina, Texas, Illinois, and Long Island, New York. The Rutherford Choir sang Afternoon on a Hill by Eric Barnum and Wade in the Water, arranged by Rob Dietz, which featured soloist Kyra Cioffi. The students did an outstanding job, and it was an unforgettable experience to perform in one of the famous venues in the world.
