Congratulations to the Rutherford students who won prizes in the Rutherford Elks Lodge 547 Drug Awareness Contest. This year's theme was: Be Kind To Your Mind - Live Drug Free. Union Middle School students in Ms. Colleen Kiick's classes won two awards. Saisha Patel took the award for best essay in Grade 8. Madison Smith, also in UMS Grade 8, won an award for her poem. Congratulations to senior Marina Faltawws who was the New Jersey state winner for the Elks Association Drug Awareness Program Video Contest.
