A small ensemble from the Rutherford High School Concert Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Patricia Blanchard, was proud to perform at the Borough of Rutherford 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony in Lincoln Park. During the ceremony, the Borough honored the memories of the six Rutherford residents whom were lost during the terror attacks of September 11th, 2001. Students in Ms. Cafiero's Foods classes are learning about the proper way to use knives when slicing, cutting, chopping, and dicing. Today they practiced using kinetic sand which allows students to see the outcome without generating additional food waste. English 400 9/11 Remembrance
Seniors in Miss Rizzi and Dr. Porto's English 400 classes participated in a station activity regarding the remembrance of 9/11. Students were able to analyze visuals, videos, and personal accounts from the day of the attacks and took part in meaningful discussions with teachers and with each other.
