It’s hard to believe that the school year is already half over. Winter sports have begun tournament play. The senior fashion show was a huge success. With close to 600 tickets sold, it was truly an amazing night! The Drug Enforcement Administration will be hosting a Hidden in Plain Sight assembly for our parents on February 12 at 7PM. School will be closed on February 14 and 17 for winter recess. There will be a PTSA meeting at the high school on February 18 at 730pm. RHS Academic Decathlon Takes 2nd Place in Regionals with 77 Individual Awards!
The Rutherford High School Academic Decathlon took 2nd place overall in the Regional Competition, garnering a whopping 77 individual awards! The team will now move on to states. The State Championship is on Feb. 29th.

School becomes more difficult if your child stays home too much. Sometimes it’s tempting to allow them to stay home because they have too much work or they do not understand the material. RHS Academic Decathlon Takes 2nd Place In Super Quiz
We are excited to announce that the Rutherford high School Academic Decathlon team won 2nd place in the Super Quiz portion of the Regional Competition. Additional congratulations to Tierra Sherlock for having the highest scoring speech at this weekend's Academic Decathlon competition. Tierra will get to perform her speech at Wednesday night's awards dinner.
