On April 8, the Rutherford High School Concert Choir performed with the Coda Concert Series at the esteemed Carnegie Hall in New York City. In addition to rehearsing with professional clinicians, the students were able to sing in two mass choir pieces with all of the other students attending. There were groups performing from North Carolina, Texas, Illinois, and Long Island, New York. Parents/guests are invited to attend the Senior Awards Breakfast at The Fiesta in Wood-Ridge on Friday, May 31. Doors open at 8:00 AM and breakfast is served at 8:30. RHS Musical Wins Award Nomination!
RHS Musical Wins Award Nomination! For the second time, Rutherford High School competed in the Metro Awards. The Metro Awards is a competition for high schools in Bergen, Rockland, Putnam, and Westchester counties that honors excellence in musical theatre. RHS’ production of Mamma Mia! Was judged against 56 other schools. This year, the Rutherford High School theatre program was honored with a nomination in the category of Outstanding Vocal Performance.
