The school year seems to go faster and faster every year.  It is hard to believe it is already almost time for summer vacation!  It has been a great year at Pierrepont School and I wish all of our families a safe, healthy, and happy summer. Congratulations to all students and staff involved with the drama club production of “Seussical The Musical.”  What an outstanding production! This year is moving by very quickly!  We have had a busy few weeks with NJSLA testing leading up to Spring Break. The month of May is filled with many school activities. Books and Beyond graduation will be held on May 2 for students in grade 5 and May 3 for students in grade 6. May 6-10 is Teacher Appreciation Week. Please join me in thanking all of the wonderful teachers who work with your children. Fifth graders will take the NJSLA Science assessment on May 7 and May 8. Happy Spring! I know that we are all looking forward to some sunshine and warm weather.  NJSLA assessments will take place from April 8-16.  All students will test during the morning sessions.  Make up testing will take place as needed beginning April 17.  It is important that all students arrive to school on time, bring wired headphones with them, and that 6th graders bring their Chromebooks fully charged. Thank you to all of the students, parents, and staff who donated so generously to Silver Bells.  A special thank you goes out to the Service Club, The PTA, Mrs. Frattarola, Mrs. Garabedian, Ms. Scrimenti, and Mrs. Paolazzi for their efforts to make this year’s Silver Bells a success.
