We have had a busy fall so far.  It is hard to believe that first quarter of the school year is coming to a close!  We have been implementing Social and Emotional Learning strategies and are continuing to use mindfulness strategies in the classrooms. The school year is off to a great start!  Students and teachers have been very busy and working hard.  The teachers and I enjoyed seeing so many parents at Back to School Night and are looking forward to working together with you throughout the school year. The school year seems to go faster and faster every year.  It is hard to believe it is already almost time for summer vacation!  It has been a great year at Pierrepont School and I wish all of our families a safe, healthy, and happy summer. Congratulations to all students and staff involved with the drama club production of “Seussical The Musical.”  What an outstanding production! This year is moving by very quickly!  We have had a busy few weeks with NJSLA testing leading up to Spring Break. The month of May is filled with many school activities. Books and Beyond graduation will be held on May 2 for students in grade 5 and May 3 for students in grade 6. May 6-10 is Teacher Appreciation Week. Please join me in thanking all of the wonderful teachers who work with your children. Fifth graders will take the NJSLA Science assessment on May 7 and May 8.
