Ms. Mann's 6th-grade class explored the vibrant tradition of Rangoli art while studying Ancient India. Typically made out of sand and flowers, Ms. Mann's students used coffee filters and makers to make these elaborate designs. Using mathematics, students carefully folded paper to create symmetrical designs, applying concepts of geometry and patterns.
