We have had a busy fall so far. It is hard to believe that first quarter of the school year has come to a close! Parents will receive a notification when report cards are finalized and ready to view. The Service Club is sponsoring a food drive to support the Rutherford Community Food Pantry. Donations will be accepted through November 17. Items in need include: canned tuna, canned chicken, canned clams, canned sardines, spam, hash, coffee, tea, and oatmeal. The year is off to a great start! The students settled right in and made a smooth adjustment to the new school year. The teachers and I enjoyed seeing so many parents at Back to School Night and are looking forward to working together with you throughout the year. Please join us for the first PTA meeting of the year which will be held on October 15 at 7 p.m.
I hope to see all of students participating in our Week of Respect spirit week from October 6-10. A flyer will be emailed with spirit week details.

It seems like only a few weeks ago that we were welcoming students to a new school year and now it June! It has been a great year at Pierrepont School and I wish all of our families a safe, healthy, and happy summer. Congratulations to all students and staff involved with the drama club production of “Finding Nemo Jr.” The production received rave reviews from all audience members. Spring 2025
I hope that all of our families have a wonderful and restorative Spring Break. We have a busy spring ahead of us! NJSLA testing will take place throughout the month of May. All student in grades 4-6 will take the Math portion of the assessment on May 6-8 and the ELA portion of the assessment on May 12-13. Fifth graders will also take the Science portion of the assessment on May 15-16. All testing will take place during the morning session.
