Parent conferences will be held on the evening of January 22 and during the day on January 23rd. We will have a one session day on January 22 and no school on January 23rd. Teachers will send out information to sign up for a conference time.

This school year, Pierrepont School will be hosting its 9th Annual Literacy Fair. The goal is to get our Pierrepont Elementary students excited about reading and provide an opportunity to share one of their favorite books with the rest of the school in a creative way. The reading fair also gives students an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of the parts of a book and the components of a story. Engineering a Finger: Where Science Meets Creativity
The students in Mrs. Colucci's and Mrs. Barone's science classes are learning about the skeletal and muscular systems. With our Mystery Science program, we built a robot finger out of paper and string, and compared it to our human fingers.
This project especially highlighted our PORG quality of creativity as students considered ideas for how to make the finger stronger, or to combine the fingers to use like a hand.
