Mrs. Almaliah’s Students Recognized for Climate Innovation
What if the most promising climate solutions in the world weren’t coming from boardrooms… but from classrooms around the globe? Students in Mrs. Almaliah's 6th-grade Gifted and Talented classroom were asked, “What can we do about climate change?” Through the Climate Innovation Challenge, they identified what they care about in their communities, designed solutions to protect it, and shared their innovations through creative video storytelling with the world. Happy Spring! I know that we are all looking forward to some sunshine and warm weather after such a long, cold, snowy, winter. As the weather gets warmer please remind your students about the dress code. As a reminder shorts and skirts must be at least fingertip length and flips flops and other backless footwear are not permitted. NJSLA-A assessments will take place on May 5-7 (ELA Reading and Writing), May 11-12 (Math) and May 14-15 (5th gr. Science). All students will test during the morning session.
