PARCC Testing

April 2018 Dear Parent(s): The Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) performance based assessment will be administered to our students from April 24, 2018 – May 2, 2018. All students will test in the morning. This test will help determine your child’s content knowledge and key skills in language arts literacy and mathematics. The PARCC is a mandated state test for public school students. Sixth Grade Career Day

Pierrepont School’s 2nd Annual Literacy Fair

Pierrepont students got excited about reading by sharing one of their favorite books with the rest of the school during the Literacy Fair, which took place during the week of Dr. Seuss’ birthday.  In the project, they demonstrated their knowledge of the parts of a book and the components of a story.  They were also able to show off their artistic side by presenting it on a storyboard with three-dimensional elements.
