Rutherford Education Foundation sponsored their yearly raffle in order to fundraise for our schools and their students. The top prize was two NY Giants tickets. Students and staff throughout the district were encouraged to buy the chances. When the chances were drawn, Pierrepont's own fifth-grade teacher, Margit Smith and her husband Gary, were the lucky winners! What a nice surprise for our school as well as Mrs. Smith's class. As one of the school's Week of Respect activities, the Friends of Rachel organized Operation Beautiful. Rachel’s Club has implemented Operation Beautiful since its inception in hopes of making the day just a little brighter by giving positive messages to our students and staff. The mission of Operation Beautiful is to post random notes in public places for other people to find.
