Rutherford Education Foundation sponsored their yearly raffle in order to fundraise for our schools and their students. The top prize was two NY Giants tickets. Students and staff throughout the district were encouraged to buy the chances. When the chances were drawn, Pierrepont’s own fifth-grade teacher, Margit Smith and her husband Gary, were the lucky winners! What a nice surprise for our school as well as Mrs. Smith’s class. They were there when Mrs. Christine Eustice handed over the tickets on the REF’s behalf. Everyone was a winner; the students, Mrs. Smith and REF. Now, go Giants!
