Silver Bells 2025
Pierrepont School’s SILVER BELLS program, sponsored by the Service Club and PTA, will begin on November 17, 2025. The SILVER BELLS program provides needy families in our school and community with items such as warm clothing and special wish list gifts for the children. (These families, as always, will remain confidential.) The Service Club under the direction of Mrs. Frattarola will be collecting money in special SILVER BELLS canisters located in all homerooms. We have had a busy fall so far. It is hard to believe that first quarter of the school year has come to a close! Parents will receive a notification when report cards are finalized and ready to view. The Service Club is sponsoring a food drive to support the Rutherford Community Food Pantry. Donations will be accepted through November 17. Items in need include: canned tuna, canned chicken, canned clams, canned sardines, spam, hash, coffee, tea, and oatmeal. Whodunit? Students Travel Back to the 1940s for a Schoolhouse Clue Mystery!
In the week leading up to Halloween, Pierrepont students stepped back in time to the 1940s for a special Schoolhouse Clue mystery challenge! Each day, a new clue was revealed over the loudspeaker in the style of a vintage radio broadcast, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats. Students used their detective skills to piece together who did it, where it happened, and with what item. From decoding hints to analyzing suspects, the entire school worked together to crack the case. The suspenseful mix of mystery, history, and teamwork made this Halloween week one to remember!
