During Semester 1, students in Fitness Through Nutrition and Foods explored the importance of healthy eating through hands-on, engaging lessons. Throughout the course, students learned essential nutrition concepts while preparing a variety of meals completely from scratch. From reading recipes to practicing safe food-handling techniques, students developed real-world cooking skills they can use beyond the classroom. The classes emphasized making nutritious choices while still having fun and enjoying the creative process of cooking. These experiences were made possible through the dedication and enthusiasm of their teacher, Mrs. Robyn Cafiero-O’Brien, who helped make learning both meaningful and delicious.
