There is no question that technology has had a huge impact on our global society. In the Rutherford Public Schools, we have challenged ourselves to keep abreast of this powerful explosion of high-tech knowledge.
TV Production & TV Studio Workshop are project-oriented courses which enable students to learn about and use the most up-to-date equipment in the field of video production. They work cooperatively in a TV studio setting to produce shows that are edited by the students, resulting in a finished tape of professional quality. Some other projects planned are a news program, an interview show, live programming and taping and editing of school plays and sporting events. In addition, Board of Education meetings are taped and readied for broadcast by our TV Production and TV Studio Workshop classes.
