To celebrate the conclusion of their class novel, Wishtree by Katherine Applegate, Mrs. Cirilli-Percontino’s 4th-grade classroom hosted their very own "Wishing Day!" Just like Red, the wise oak narrator, students explored the power of community, empathy, and hope. This classroom activity is a powerful vehicle that incorporates the 6 competencies of PORG.
