Our school year is flying by and we have officially crossed the midway point of the year. Wishing happy holidays and a healthy and prosperous new year to all of our Pierrepont families! With the cold weather upon us, we will utilize “Operation Umbrella” for morning drop off until further notice.  Grade 4 will be report to the MPR, grades 5 to the hallways near their classrooms, and grade 6 will report to the gymnasium.  We will continue to go outdoors at lunch time throughout the school year (weather permitting), it is important that students are dressed appropriately to be outdoors. We have had a busy fall so far.  It is hard to believe that first quarter of the school year is coming to a close!  We have been implementing Social and Emotional Learning strategies and are continuing to use mindfulness strategies in the classrooms. The school year is off to a great start!  Students and teachers have been very busy and working hard.  The teachers and I enjoyed seeing so many parents at Back to School Night and are looking forward to working together with you throughout the school year.
