At Washington School, our Character Education color program fosters important values that guide our students' growth. Exploring Two-Dimensional Shapes
In Ms. Kosinska's first-grade classroom, students explored two-dimensional shapes as part of the new EnVision Math Program. They focused on composing larger shapes using smaller ones, including triangles, rhombuses, and trapezoids. Thanksgiving Parade
At Washington School, we brought our community together and celebrated the spirit of Thanksgiving with our annual student-centered parade/assembly. Each class designed a creative float, which students proudly presented during the parade while parents and families enjoyed as spectators. Following the parade we gathered for an assembly where each class performed a song, a student recited the history of Thanksgiving, and the audience was treated with lighthearted Thanksgiving jokes.
