During the week of Oct. 12th, grades 1, 2, & 3 students at Washington School participated in an "in-school field trip." Orchun Koroglu, a Rutherford parent, shared his expertise in game design. Students used drawing and pixels on an iPad to create a character that could play in an online game. Washington School celebrated its third annual Walk for Washington, bringing students and staff together for a day filled with school spirit, smiles, and fun. As a PTA fundraiser, students walked laps to raise money in support of our PTA and all they do for our school community. The excitement continued with music, dancing, and a special appearance by our Washington Bulldog mascot.
