Students at Washington & Lincoln School are instructed in a music program, which is designed to stimulate and excite the students, allowing them to develop a real joy of music. All students from kindergarten through third grade go to music once a week where they sing, move, and play musical instruments. They learn to understand and appreciate music, and eventually they learn to read music. The instruction also includes vocal techniques to prepare for their Winter and Spring Concerts.
