March Events
As we move into spring with its longer days and warmer temperatures, we are excited about the upcoming events at Union Middle School. Our school musical, "Beauty and The Beast Jr.", will perform on March 18th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and March 19th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. STEM Night will occur in our cafeteria on March 22nd from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Our PBIS mid-year celebration will happen in the afternoon of Friday, March 25th. Staff Spotlight – Ms. Mastropierro
Union Middle School staff spotlight shines on Francesca Mastropierro. Ms. Mastropierro is currently the grade seven leave replacement guidance counselor at UMS. Her door is always open to meet the needs of UMS students and staff. Ms. Mastropierro’s counseling services focus on student academic and social-emotional well-being. Ms. Mastropierro is also the advisor of the UMS Service Club. During October, Ms. Mastropierro and the Service Club ran a “guess how many candy corns are in a jar” fundraiser, with all the proceeds going to the “Susan G. UMS Orientation
The Union Middle School Orientation for 6th-grade parent(s)/guardian(s) has been moved to Thursday, February 10th. The presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Please enter the building through the doors located near the pillars.
