Union Middle School staff spotlight shines on Francesca Mastropierro. Ms. Mastropierro is currently the grade seven leave replacement guidance counselor at UMS. Her door is always open to meet the needs of UMS students and staff. Ms. Mastropierro’s counseling services focus on student academic and social-emotional well-being. Ms. Mastropierro is also the advisor of the UMS Service Club. During October, Ms. Mastropierro and the Service Club ran a “guess how many candy corns are in a jar” fundraiser, with all the proceeds going to the “Susan G. Komen for the Cure” breast cancer foundation. This is just one example of Ms. Mastropierro’s many contributions to UMS. Thank you, Ms. Mastropierro, for all you do for the Union Middle School community.
