Word from the Principal

March is an exciting and busy time here at RHS.  We just concluded a successful winter season.  As busy as the winter season was, we have an even busier spring ahead.  We start the month with our school musical, Cinderella, performed on March 10 and 11.  There will be a very informative district-wide security meeting for parents on the evening of March 14. The popular Mike Cassidy Shamrock ‘N Run 5K will take place on March 17.  Many of our students and staff volunteer for this wonderful cause.  The REF is sponsoring a Harlem Wizards night on March 21.  A College Information Night hosted by the guidance department will take place on March 22.   The third quarter benchmarks will start on March 26 and run through March 29.  The most popular Spirit Week will take place during the week of March 26.  There is an important PTSA meeting on March 27.    The Class of 2019 will be enjoying the Junior Dinner Dance on April 6.   Dr. Hopkins and I have been working diligently on PARCC preparations and this year’s PARCC testing will be held in April.  A detailed schedule will be posted shortly.  As always feel free to contact the main office with any questions.
