It is with great excitement that I welcome everyone to the 2019-2020 school year. There is nothing like the energy in the building during the month of September. I am excited to begin another year as principal of RHS and lead our highly successful and motivated staff through school and district initiatives that will only make our outstanding school even better. RHS is excited to announce a Parent Academy that will allow us to form a strong partnership with parents. We will offer programs throughout the year regarding overall student wellness.
There are many events that will occur this month. This year we will once again be combining our 9th Grade Parent Orientation with our Back to School Night on Tuesday, September 10. The 9th Grade Parent Orientation will begin at 6:00 pm and Back to School Night will begin at 7:00 pm. School pictures will be taken on September 11 and our fall sports pep rally will be on September 13. Our first PTSA meeting will take place on October 8 at 7:30 pm. We are excited to announce that Ms. Laura Battista was named Distinguished Graduate and we will be honoring her on September 19. The homecoming dance is September 20 and the always popular homecoming parade and football game is September 21.
I am looking forward to working collaboratively with students, staff, parents, and the community to continue the excellent tradition of RHS.
