In a fun twist on Election Day, Pierrepont School recently held a "Mock Candy Election" thanks to the hard work and creativity of sixth-grade teachers, Ms. Jacki Mann and Ms. Allie Herring and cooperation and support of the entire school. Google Meet Between Pierrepont and RHS
Mrs. Rebecca Macri's fourth grade students in Digital Storytelling had the opportunity to participate in a Google Meet with Mr. Mett's TV Production class from Rutherford High School. Field Trip to the Farm
Mrs. Roman, Mrs Lala, and Mr. Kasper's classes attended a field trip to Demarest Farms on Friday, October 11th, 2024. Students prepared for this trip by taking part in many lessons about the fall season. Students enjoyed a day at the farm by connecting the lessons learned in the classroom out in the community. A Visit From a Paleontologist
Students in Mrs. Manocchio & Ms. Levine's social studies classes had the opportunity to participate in a Zoom call with a paleontologist, as part of their learning about early cultures and ancient civilizations. The students prepared questions ahead of time, based on what they have been learning in their social studies unit. The paleontologist was able to share her experiences in the field through discussion, pictures at various excavation sites, and through images of fossils and artifacts that her team has uncovered.
