To celebrate the beginning of the new school year, as well as to commemorate Patriot Day which took place on September 11th, Mrs. Manocchio and Mrs. TIffner's 6th grade homerooms took part in the Kindness Rocks Project. The students discussed how small acts of kindness can have a significant positive impact on our school, community, and world. The students also talked about what it means to show good character and practice empathy towards others.   The annual Scholastic Book Fair is scheduled for October 7 -11 in the Pierrepont School Media Center.  Each child is receiving a Scholastic Reading Brochure that contains a list of some of the books that will be available.  Please take the time to discuss this reading list with your child.
