5th Annual Literacy Fair

This school year, Pierrepont School will be hosting its 5th Annual Literacy Fair.  The goal is to get our Pierrepont Elementary students excited about reading and provide an opportunity to share one of their favorite books with the rest of the school in a creative way. The reading fair also gives students an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of the parts of a book and the components of a story. Inclement Weather

Should a one-session day be called because of inclement weather, students in 4-6 will be dismissed at 12:20 p.m. It is imperative that your children know the procedures you expect them to follow upon leaving school. The "Connect 5" system will notify parents by contacting phone numbers and/or email addresses currently on school records.  Each Pierrepont Family received a "Connect 5" call earlier this year during our test run.  If a phone or email contact has changed and the school has not been notified, the system will not be able to alert you to an emergency closing.  Please keep the … [Read more...] about Inclement Weather

World Kindness Day

World Kindness Day, celebrated internationally every year on November 13th, is a day that promotes the importance of being kind to each other, to ourselves, and to the world. The purpose of this day is to help everyone understand that compassion for others is what binds us all together. To celebrate World Kindness Day at Pierrepont School, Rachel’s Challenge club members spread kindness by giving every student in the school a surprise positive note on their lockers. Silver Bells

Pierrepont School’s SILVER BELLS program, sponsored by the Service Club and PTA, will begin on November 22, 2021.  The SILVER BELLS program provides needy families in our school and community with items such as warm clothing and special wish list gifts for the children.  (These families, as always, will remain confidential.)
