Students in 4th though 6th grade Gifted and Talented recently participated in the Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC). The NLMC is one of the largest math contests in the United States for elementary and middle school students. Every year, more than 30,000 students across the country participate in the contest to compete against each other. “The Fighting Ground” Dioramas
Students in Mr. Bach's and Mr. Cuomo's class recently finished reading the novel The Fighting Ground. Upon completion of the novel, students created dioramas of a meaningful scene in the book. Parents are invited to attend another Care Plus Parent Academy presentation on Wednesday, December 7, at Pierrepont School. Students in Mrs. Manocchio & Ms. Levine's social studies classes recently engaged in an exciting debate, as a culminating activity for their unit of study on Ancient Mesopotamia: "Which Mesopotamian ruler was "greater"? Sargon The Great or Cyrus The Great?"
