Ms. Dehnert, Mrs. Barone, and Mrs. Colucci’s classes recently completed an engaging project on New Jersey’s first settlers, the Lenni-Lenape. Students showcased their learning by creating diorama replicas of longhouses or wigwams, or by designing detailed posters about Lenni-Lenape life, culture, and traditions. Whodunit? Students Travel Back to the 1940s for a Schoolhouse Clue Mystery!
In the week leading up to Halloween, Pierrepont students stepped back in time to the 1940s for a special Schoolhouse Clue mystery challenge! Each day, a new clue was revealed over the loudspeaker in the style of a vintage radio broadcast, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats. Students used their detective skills to piece together who did it, where it happened, and with what item. From decoding hints to analyzing suspects, the entire school worked together to crack the case. The suspenseful mix of mystery, history, and teamwork made this Halloween week one to remember!
