Our school year is flying by and we have officially crossed the midway point of the year. Please review with your children what you expect them to do if an emergency closing is called after the start of the school day. In the event of an emergency closing, students will be dismissed at 12:20 p.m. After school care is canceled on emergency closing days. If you are not available to pick your children up at school, it is imperative that they know what to do and where to go. Our sixth graders will begin planning for seventh grade this month. In order to keep all of the children safe and to keep traffic flowing as best as possible, please keep the following things in mind:
Please be aware that there is no double parking in the areas surrounding the school during the drop off and pick up of students.
Students are to be dropped off as close to the curb as possible and not in the middle of the street. The drop off lane in front of the building along Pierrepont Avenue and Lincoln Avenue near the 4th grade courtyard have a designated drop off area where there are no vehicles parked.
