Pierrepont School 6th graders graduated from the LEAD program on April 3, 2019. LEAD, which is taught by instructors from the Rutherford Police Department, is introduced in health class and is designed to deter youth from drugs, crime, bullying, and violence. Chief Russo attended the graduation along with several RPD officers who led students through stations to mimic the impairment to senses while under the influence. Happy Spring! I know that we are all looking forward to some sunshine and warm weather. NJSLA assessments will take place from April 8-16. All students will test during the morning sessions. Make up testing will take place as needed beginning April 17. It is important that all students arrive to school on time, bring wired headphones with them, and that 6th graders bring their Chromebooks fully charged.
