Cultivating kindness through self-awareness and caring, Ms. Engels, Mrs. Macri, Ms. Lyon, Mrs. Smith, and Mrs. Philp's classes came together to explore the key to kindness. Reading the book -ish by Peter Reynolds, the 4th and 5th grade students engaged in discussions about the importance of being aware of their actions and being kind and caring toward others. The Green Team at Pierrepont School has been working extremely hard bagging, weighing, and recycling plastic bags. To date, we have been able to recycle just over 2,000 pounds of bags! That is just about 200,000 ShopRite bags! Our last drop off will be April 3. Thank you to all who have contributed to this effort.
