Exploring Ancient India Through Rangoli Art
Ms. Mann's 6th-grade class explored the vibrant tradition of Rangoli art while studying Ancient India. Typically made out of sand and flowers, Ms. Mann's students used coffee filters and makers to make these elaborate designs. Using mathematics, students carefully folded paper to create symmetrical designs, applying concepts of geometry and patterns. Chain Reaction Creations!
Students in Mrs. Colucci’s & Mrs. Barone’s 4th Grade Science class concluded their study on “Energy & Energy Transfer” with a look at chain reaction machines.
