Pierrepont School’s SILVER BELLS program, sponsored by the Service Club and PTA, will begin on November 22, 2021.  The SILVER BELLS program provides needy families in our school and community with items such as warm clothing and special wish list gifts for the children.  (These families, as always, will remain confidential.) Pierrepont School completed a two week Cereal Box Collection in support of the Bergen County Food Security Task Force.  Students and staff donated a whopping 650 boxes of cereal, which will benefit the Rutherford Community Food Pantry!  At the end of the collection period, student volunteers helped to set up the boxes in a domino chain that created a chain reaction.  Students learned that we are all interconnected and play a part in holding each other up.  Our cereal domino chain was filmed and submitted to the Task Force as part of a county-wide competition.  We are so proud of our students, … [Read more...] about Cereal Box Collection
