Fall Field Trip
After learning about pumpkins during the month of October, Mrs. Russo, Ms. Smith, and Ms. Freitag's students experienced a day on the farm. Students rode on a hayride, picked their own pumpkins, fed the farm animals, and ended their day with a sweet treat of farm fresh donuts and cider!

Slushies in Science Class
The second graders made slushies in science. They were exploring the phenomena that salt actually makes ice colder compared to a bag of just pure ice. When students placed their juice bag into the cold salt-water solution it absorbed the heat from the juice, turning it into a slushy.
