Third graders presented their science fair projects to family members today. Because of the success of last year's science fair held in the classrooms, we moved the fair to the gym to give students more room to show their wonderful projects. G&T Discovery Open House
On June 2nd, the Lincoln School Grade 3 Discovery students hosted an open house for their parents. Students showed off the projects they have worked on this school year, served a delicious salad from their garden, and programmed their LEGO Mars rovers for their parents' amusement. Ms. Betancor, Integrated Preschool Teacher, Starfish Award Recipient
The Special Education Parent Advisory Group (SEPAG) recognized Ms. Betancor as someone who is making a meaningful difference in the lives of our children in the special education community! The SEPAG selected Ms. Betancor as the first recipient of the Starfish Award. Ms. Betancore teaches three and four year olds in an integrated classroom. She infuses learning and social skills through a program of discovery and play. There were many other staff nominated who also have a meaningful impact.
