Mr. Payne is the author of the series MONSTER JUICE. His other titles include What Is the Story of Scooby-Doo? and Who is R.L. Stine? Mystery Science
Just in time for Halloween, students in Ms. Hetzel and Mrs. Podolanczuk's 3rd-grade class investigated the question "What would happen if we didn't have a skull?" As part of the Mystery Science program, students watched and discussed a short video on the purpose of a skull, then continued to build their own skulls from a paper mask. Ms. Kiley and Ms. McGurren’s class exploring their new classroom STEM bins! Students learned the meaning of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and were able to use their creativity to construct model figures, follow patterns, and scale objects.
