Ms. McGurren and Ms. Kiley’s class read How to Catch a Turkey by Adam Wallace. Afterward, with the help of parent visitors, students followed the Engineering Design Process and planned, built, tested, and improved an “escape device” for their turkey. So many turkeys were able to escape over our “river” to safety!
