Second graders in Ms. Balestrieri’s class discovered how water shapes the earth’s surface. Students worked together to answer the question, “What’s strong enough to make a canyon?” Through a hands-on activity, students saw evidence of how water is strong enough to carry rocks, sand, and dirt, and leave behind landforms like canyons!
