It’s unbelievable that we are starting the last quarter of the school year on April 7.  Spring sports have begun and as Spring has arrived and we approach the finish line we have numerous important events beginning this month.  The students enjoyed the most popular Spirit Week.  The senior class took home the prize with the most school spirit. March is an exciting and busy time here at RHS.  We just concluded a successful winter season.  As busy as the winter season was, we have an even busier spring ahead.  We start the month off with a  one-session day for students on March 3. Mrs. Gagliardo has been working diligently on NJGPA testing which all 11th graders must take.  This (NJGPA) Graduation Proficiency Assessment will take place on March 10 and 11 and March 13 and 14. It’s hard to believe that the school year is already half over.  Semester two began on January 27!  Winter sports have begun tournament play and as always our student athletes are making us proud. The senior fashion will take place on Wednesday, February 5. It is amazing to me that we are already in December!!!  It has been a very exciting time here at RHS with a successful fall season.   Our band and choir students have been working extremely hard preparing for their Winter Concert to be held on Thursday, December 12.  Our winter sports teams are working hard and in full swing. It's hard to believe that I am typing that the end of Quarter 1 is approaching.   Quarter 1 ends on November 6 and as I have said a number of times already this year, the energy in the building has been fantastic.  School will be closed for election day on November 5 and also on November 7 and 8 for teachers’ convention.  The All School Play will be performed on Friday, November 15 and Saturday, November 16.  Schools will be closed for Thanksgiving on November 28 and 29 with a one-session day on Wednesday, November 27.  The all sports booster dinner will take place on December 3 at the … [Read more...] about Word from the Principal
